Myth busting - General Reloading & Handloading Discussion

I would agree with this:

Yes, I'm shooting more rounds at a lower per round cost. In the end, will I shoot more, and maybe spend more? That's possible and definitely likely, but as Live Life's wife mentioned -- was it fun doing all those things? Yes!
I enjoy shooting, owning guns, reloading, and now casting.
So, a bunch of $$ later --- I'm still having fun.
I say, if your wife is not spending it, then it money saved, so spend it 1st

What you reload on (progressive, turret, single stage) determines how much shooting you'll do and how much you'll 'save'. 100 rounds on a single stage is work and you won't be considering mag dumps.

100 rounds on a progressive is nothing, and the expense of mag dumps is too far removed from the shooting experience to be meaningful.

Turns out the old Lee Loader is the most economical reloader of all due mostly to psychology.
