NAA Mini Revolver - Accuracy

I have the holster grip on my Black Widow. Neat way to carry it and gives you more real estate to hang onto. Definitely helps me with my accuracy.

I saw a good deal of keyholing with my minis. Forgot about it. As an aside, a friend reloaded 223 and shot a shorter barrel AR - got lots of key holing at 7 yards - oops. Back to factory?

I tried different grips on my NAA & the only ones that I can work with are the folding grips. I've never put the 22LR cylinder in mine so no idea about POI changes. Here's a photo from a revolver day at the range showing a 7 yard group using 45gr Hornady XTP's.

Buying larger grips for this mini-revolver in .22 mag. will improve what accuracy one can achieve. As soon as I bought one of these, I ordered grips for it. With the larger grips, it handles much better. This little bugger is VERY loud and of course throws a fireball (no barrel to burn the powder).

Such a little revolver would make for a "boot gun" backup. FMJs in this little thing will blow through a 3" thick piece of firewood (hardwood).

Would be nice to know which NAA you're shooting because they make several different ones that are convertible with a 1.125" barrel.

I'll assume you're using the standard mini with the half circle front sight... those front sights are never straight as they're cast or forged one piece with the frame.

You could try different ammo, they may shoot closer to POA, but rarely to it. .22 Mag won't make much difference either. 1.1" of rifling isn't much to stabilize the bullets.

I haven't shot mine a ton, but - first time out I recall hitting the can to the left of the one I was aiming at consistently. It was me not being experiened shooting a snub nose. I haven't done any more real practice to have insight into overall accuracy, but I can hit a 6" gong 3 out of 5 shots at 15 yards with it. Good enough for me.
