Name this revolver

From what I have researched, my best guess is a s&w 586. Anyone know from sure?

If it is a 586, it will say so on the frame of the revolver once you open the cylinder.

Pictures a little blurry but looks very much like my 586. If it is, it should have the S&W symbol just above the grips.

Hard to tell from pic, most likely a S&W 586 but maybe a N frame S&W in .44mag? Some types of mod 29 came with the full lug.

The Astra cylinder release looks different and IIRC it doesn't come with a full lug barrel.

Unless that hand belongs to Andre the Giant, that revolver would be an L-frame 357, ie. a 586.

Agreed that is a 6" S&W 586. As previously stated you can confirm this by opening the cylinder and looking at the inside of the crane. It will even tell you which version (i.e. 586-?)
