Having assisted kids..
- Kids sized Nitrile gloves
- "Ballistol needs to put some in a nail polish bottle with the brush so I cah put it where I want it".
- "Doesn't anybody make a Purple Sling for my Pink Cricket?" (she has one that was made.)
-"Yeah I want a Yellow sling". "Well I want a Neon Green One"...
-Spinner target for BB Guns.
What they like is the one with 3 circles, of different sizes, with a base that just sits on the ground like they use for their 22. single shot rifles. They use spring powered BB Guns [Most are Red Ryder because this gun fits them better and not heavy]. Afraid of Richochet and the targets do not move "very much, and all". Needs to be light and easy to carry.
Kids think maybe replaceable Nerf circles , that are easy to change on a Plastic one in Pretty Colors might work.
-Slip on Recoil pad for a Red Ryder. "It will fit mom better ya know?"
-More and better choices , in Pretty and Cool colors in Ear Protection.
-Kid sized oxford , polo, and T shirts , with pockets, with a shooting patch on both shoulders. ["Make the purple one first"]
-Quality .22 revolvers, "no stupid lock on it either" , in J frame, 3" barrels in .22 long rifle.
"Yeah, like they used to do , and we want blue ones and steel ones and nice stocks to fit us kids, and what is wrong if a girl wants Purple Stocks, or some boy wants Yelllow ones, he'll probably put on a NASCAR sticker on it too..."
-9mm or .38spl barrel that will fit on a H&R Topper/ NEF Youth shotgun.
Kids have shot 9mm and light .38 spl loads. They know these guns can be sent in for centerfire calibers and for .22 long rifle rimfire.
Just makes sense to them , to have something without a lot of recoil, and not "all that expensive to shoot " in a barrel for them.
One young man said the swamp rabbits are big where grandpa lives, he bets with a 9mm or .38spl he could better put one down. Has an idea of a place [to be set up] and "be kinda like deer hunting, but different".
Kids are our future, sounds like the kids have a pretty good idea of what they want...
Moms have some ideas too...
