I found this website while researching a problem with a Yugo SKS that I recently acquired ( my 2nd ), and I'm hoping somebody has an anawer or some good advice. It has already been converted to the Poly-nylon Monte Carlo stock so I figure this will be a good "project" gun. The problem is that the front sight is sufficiently damaged and I need to remove it from the barrel and either find a replacement or leave it off and add a scope. I have found instructions and directions for just about every modification and repair to the SKS except how to actually remove the front sight assembly :banghead: . Any ideas?
