Need info on IAI 30 carbine auto

I have a gentleman that is offering me a trade including a IAI in 30 carbine. Could anyone give me an idea of what this gun is worth? I have not seen it and have no idea of condition or if it has the box or any accesories. Is this any better or worse than the AMT? Any info would be appreciated.

Never seen one, but from what I have heard they are not the best quality. Maybe not as bad as a universal, but that is not saying much.

If the IAI 30 carbine is like the AMT automag, then they may be worth a pretty penny.
I paid $700 for my NIB AMT automag 30 carbine five years ago.
I was recently offered $900 for it. I have been shooting it. While it is very entertaining to shoot, it is neither accurate nor well made.
Frame & slide are cast stainless,, with fit & finish second shelf, but I won't part with it.
If the IAI is like the shortened M1 carbine, then value may be half of that of the above mentioned automag.
