New ammo line by CCI/Blazer

Hey all,

I just got an e-mail from Outdoormarksman about a new ammo line from CCI/Blazer. It's called Independence Ammo and the irony is that it's made in Brazil!

It's pretty cheap:

$99.95 for 1000 rounds of 9mm
$165 for 1000 rounds of .45acp

I might have to try that out next time.

Just a heads up for ya'll.

Any info on it? Bullet weights? Brass or Aluminum cased? We can CCI Blazer 9mm locally for $85/1000 rds tax included.,

Actually I think the Independence Ammo is from Federal. Although CCI is starting to make brass cased Blazer. Saw it the other day when I was looking through the Natchez.com catalog I got in the mail.

Not bad prices. Depending on how high shipping is you could actually beat the Wally World Value Pack prices.

I found what appears to be a a preliminary listing for it on WholesaleHunter. Just .38spl and .357mag, but no stats or pics. Down at the bottom.

I don't see anywhere in your link that says "CCI/Speer". Natchez shooting supply says it's a Federal product:

That's weird. I guess it's a thing where this independent company is making cheap ammo and both Federal and CCI are importing and marketing it. Either that or Natchez messed up.
