I thought the old price for an FFL transfer was $25 and now the law allows them to charge $50. It seems to me $95 is totally out of line especially since my local dealer does it for $20.

Very nice looking rifle. I hope is shoots as good as it looks but I'm sure it will.

Also, why would the ATF force a dealer to destroy a barrel on an imported gun?

I'm not aware that FFL transfer fees are regulated. But since I needed an FFL's cooperation to just order the rifle, an extra $70 was agreed to by me. Its better than paying retail.

With regard to the ATF ruling to destroy imported barrels on parts kits, I think you can blame AG Gonzales, in my opinion. It's a new rule.
