New Glock 26 owner - what should I get with it?

1. Several G17 magazines
2. Lots of ammo
3. Lots of range time

Do not be tempted to carry a Glock without a holster that covers the trigger, especially in the pocket. Glocks are totally unsuitable for Mexican carry.

Ask Plaxico Burress.

If you put after market crap on it, save your original parts so you can make it work properly again after you finish playing around.

Hey Whatever,

+1 on the GAP floorplates. They are a great product that really helps get a firm, consistent grip. Totally worth the $20 or it costs to outfit the two mags the 26 comes with. Helps reduce muzzle-flip, as well.

Holster comfort is totally subjective, but for what its worth my Crossbreed Supertuck is the best IWB I've found so far. Comfortable and well concealed. I prefer the "combat-cut", which makes it easier for me to get a high, firm grip quickly without having to slide my hand between the grip and leather backing.

I hope your 26 serves you well.

Ammo

G19 or G17 mags

Pearce or GAP floorplates / extensions for the G26 mags. These make huge difference in my drawstroke.

Warren Tactical sights

VM2 for IWB -or- a Tucker cover up if you want to try running it at Appendix
