FAB Defense released a polymer mount for Glock to address this issue by providing rear anchor point to prevent scope drop/POA rising for $45 - https://www.amazon.com/GIS-Glock-Tactical-Scope-Defense/dp/B007ASIUYS/ref=sr_1_20
Fireclub version for $5 (Yes, I already ordered one and will do a review) - https://www.amazon.com/FIRECLUB-Tactical-Flashlight-Universal-Picatinny/dp/B01E732I3W/ref=sr_1_27
In the previous archived thread, I reviewed polymer IMI Defense and aluminum Fab Defense Universal Scope Mount with less than desirable results due to IMI Defense mount not working with single slot rail of Glock 22 and even modifying the mount point, weight of scope pushing the rear of mount down to deem use with lighter weight red dot only - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...endence-from-work.853305/page-4#post-11219888
The aluminum Fab Defense Universal Scope Mount was better but due to Glock 22 rail being polymer, absolute steadiness was not achieved for 25 yard group testing as polymer rail of Glock flexed and lifted up to contact slide (Aluminum Fab Defense mount worked fine with railed Sig 1911 XO due to solid rail section).
While responding to another thread, I noticed Fab Defense addressed this issue with a new mount that has rear pin that replaces Glock frame/trigger pin. When I saw a duplicate Fireclub version for $5, I immediately ordered to review - https://www.amazon.com/FIRECLUB-Tactical-Flashlight-Universal-Picatinny/dp/B01E732I3W/ref=sr_1_27
I received the Fireclub Glock mount without instructions. Label on the plastic bag stated "FIRECLUB Tactical Poly ... 21, 22, 23, 34 Gen 3 & 4" and inside the bag was a small Allen wrench to remove/install the hex head bolts.
While the mount was made of polymer, it felt rigid/solid and design of using the Glock frame/trigger pin seemed to provide very sturdy mount point as now the weight distribution was spread over wider front to back area.
Here's the mount showing push button release for single slot rail
Rear of mount showing hex bolts at the end of pin that would replace factory trigger pin
Installation:
Installation was simply tapping out the factory trigger pin part way and pushing the replacement threaded pin in
And here's the finished product
