New, Improved Rifle and Truck Poll

Welcome to the new poll. Slightly different from the first one I posted a few days ago.

In his editor's column, in the October issue of the American Rifleman, Mark Keefe posts the results of an informal poll of the devotees of the Rem. 700 and the Winchester 70. The pollster claims the fans of one rifle like one brand of truck, and the rest like the other brand.

I know the options are rather narrow, but I just want to see if this poll yields a similar result. If you don't like either rifle, or either kind of truck, then start another poll. What do AK/AR/Enfield/Mosin people drive?

I had to go with the Remington 700 and the Chevy. I damned near said Remington 700 and Ford. Oh how I lust after those Ford pickups.....

Come on, guys, read the first post. This poll is only about the two most popular American bolt-actions and two, only two, brands of pick-ups. I want to see if I get the same results as another poll. I don't have the Mercury Cougar or a hybrid car or a dump truck on the poll, either. Get over it.

Brand loyalty is, at best, extreme silliness.

I think the Remmy is a better rifle so I chose that. I think Ford provides me with more truck for my money so I picked that.

I own a Model 70 and a F250. My last truck was a Silverado. Truck before that was a Ford. Next truck who knows.

but have owned a chevy years ago. It was the fastest of all the trucks I've owned.

My 68 ford is the best truck I have ever owned.

Okay, I'll bite - -

Answered the other poll, so I'll go with this one as well.

I went with Ford and Remington, as a general rule. Strange, though - - I removed my old '94 Winchester from my F-150 a while back, and have only recently put in another long gun. This one is a .30 US Carbine - - made by Winchester!

I just GOTTA sight in that .35 Whelen Model 700.

Ok, I've got a 1969 Ford F100 and a 1975 Model 70.

Some stuff just gets better with age.
Neither one are my primaries, though; that'd be the Suzuki Sidekick and the FAL.

I think it should be Marlin 30-30/Winchester 30-30 and Ford/Chevy. The super accurate rifles remind me more of modern SUV's.
