Hey ya'll,
I've been visiting this site for years now to get info on purchases along with info on Guns,& Knives. I don't know why I never registered . But here I am now. I collect knives, and have a small gun collection . Which I use at my local range "Iron sights" in Oceanside CA. I'm mainly into pistol shooting. So that's alittle bit about me.

Hello! I am new here! I actually bought a gun for the first time in my life today. I own several but *I* bought this one! For my first purchase I chose a Taurus 24/7 9mm. I will be taking my concealed carry class in about 2 weeks. I am so excited!
I am an oklahoma gal that enjoys hunting, fishing and being outdoors :)

Hello Everyone on THE HIGH ROAD!!!

Welcome, Carla!

We have been to the Tulsa gun show several times, and I've come to the conclusion that Oklahoma has been hoarding all the smartest and prettiest girls all these years, while California has just been talking about it!

whats up? names D fairly new to the gunworld. recently purchased a 30-32 beretta tomcat. (love it btw) im interested in alltypes of guns more so pistols and assault rifles. knifesare also a must.( anyone who says never bring a knife to a gunfight is a moron... anyone ever heard of CQC?) anyway im interested in meeting some people around my area to go to the range with. and maybe buying a few guns here and there. well thanks for the welcome to the forum and i look forward to everyones help.

Hi. I have shot a few different caliber guns in my time and I support the 2nd Amendment. :)

I may have other wisdom to offer, time will tell. ;)

Nice to meet you all.

Howdy, new member here.
I've been aware of the forum for quite a while, just getting around to signing up today. I've been very active on the Zombie Squad forums (which rule, btw) for a few years, and am the general administrator there now.

I'm a very-pro RKBA libertarian. (notice the little "l") I'm an NRA certified trainer and last year offered three classes for neophytes. I like to refer to my course as "Firearm Safety for Pacifists". I try to present education about guns as a tool, not something scary, dangerous and mysterious. Unlike the NRA class, range time is completely optional, so I get some people who are anti-gun, but wish to learn a little bit without actually shooting or getting bombarded with politics. Learning about firearms is the first step to correcting that anti-gun mentality, I think.

I'm also an avid reloader, and love taking new people to the range. I helped inspire 4 people on my team at work last year to buy AR-15's after some range trips. I'm a huge fan of the work Oleg Volk does. I look forward to perusing these forums and interacting with new people.

My Intrduction

Hello everyone, I would like to introduce myself to you as wrong-eye/dead-eye. I will enjoy reading your posts, and try to apply myself to learn your words of wisdom. I must first get myself accustomed to some of personalities, on this web site. I will abide by the rules that were written and agreed to. When I feel I can add to a idea or a conversation, I will throw my .02 worth in. When I make a mistake on a subject I'm sure by what I've read ,that someone will point out the error of my ways. I should say that now,and be right up front about it, so that you know I will do the same. Thank you all for reading this. I'm very sure that I will learn alot more about firearms than I ever thought I could.

Stopped By To Say Hello

Just stopped by to say Hello! I came across this forum while looking for a safe for my small collection.

I enjoy hunting and fishing and spending a little time at the range.

Hi!
My name is Joe. I am not new to gun ownership, but new to CCW. I have been visiting the site for a few weeks and am very impressed with the information shared and the questions asked and answered. This is an incredible learning oportunity for me! I look forward to learning a lot more.
I have a couple of shot guns, Browning Sweet 16, Rem 1100; one pistol a S&W Model 66; and a 50 cal Hawkins. (For making a lot of noise and smoke!:p) in the next week I will have a G19 in the fold.
I am in middle of MO.

New old guy

Joined a couple of days ago and still trying to get the lay of the land. I'm retired and have more time for huntin and fishin. My favorite weapons are the ones that get the job at hand done. If I have a preference, it would be a good 357 wheel gun, 22WMR Wheel gun, a good 22WMR rifle, 6mm Remington rifle and 300 WM rifle, good old Browning humpback 12GA. and my sideXside 20GA. Ibara. I haven't had an affinity for semi-auto pistols and my days with full autos are long gone and done. Love GOD, Family and Country and can't stand piss ants who want to destroy any of the above.

new old collector

Hello all, I live in the North GEORGA MOUNTAINS ,DAWSONVILLE
I have been collecting mosly mausers for about30 years, I collect vintage gun sights and sell at gun shows.I just did my last show for a while in Jonesboro,Ga . Waiting on a Kidney transplant, I find it hard to spend the day or weekend at shows anymore, I was going to sell all my sights but theres just to many to list so I guess they go back into the safe. I'll be around to answer sight questions.

Hello from Germany

Hello,

just found this great forum through a wikipedia link and decided to join!

My name is Jörg, I am 44, and I live in Germany. I do legally own several firearms (although that is not easy here), but my true obsession is slingshots.

I make my own slingshots. These are far stronger and more effective than the mass production products. I have many videos online at youtube (my channel link is in my signature), and I also participate in several slingshot forums.

My mission is to demonstrate that slingshots are cool and effective weapons. Their power is much underestimated (my strongest slingshot has more than 130 Joules), and they are inexpensive, easy to make and very compact.

Plus, making a slingshot is fun.

Anyway, I will present my innovations from time to time here in the proper subforum and I sincerely hope you guys will enjoy them!

Greetings from falltime Germany

Jörg

Claiming my spot as a newby. Just joined up a day or so ago. I'm sometimes able to shoot some USPSA/IPSC and steel plate matches in West Michigan with my HK pistol. I occasionally get a chance to go hunting. I just picked up big heavy strong floor safe and was reading some of the good things on this site and thought I would join.

I'm a proud life memeber of the NRA.
I'm a member of MCRGO.
I'm also a member of a similar site, HKPRO.

hola ! yup another umm so so newbie ( at least to posting here....lolz) hmm how could i introduce myself best ? ummmm i'm me and that' the way it's gonna be , i'm a informal sort of feller and those who get bent outta shape over proper spellin and punctuation well good luck and have a couple nitro pills handy cuz ur gonna need'em,i cant say i lurked but i have breezed by from time ta time ( we always get a link or two to a thread over where i hang out at to here) anyways the name's j. and i answer to about anything as long as i know it's meant in my general direction but dont let the handle fool ya as it means something far far removed from what the urban dictionary defines it as ,i have libertarian views and the donkeys and elephants both have it wrong and god what a mess they made of this great country -and ta think next election -if we're lucky enough to have one ya'll gonna vote just like ya have for the last hundred years -gee thanx aint ya sick of it yet ? something about being voted into office or paid by the taxpayers dollars really goes to peoples head.....sigh ... anyways i like ta hunt , shoot, reload, tinker in my shop when time affords and even scribble , some may call it poetry i disagree perhaps prose....but dont worry ya'll be safe from that as i only share that on yet another forum lolz, umm amigo's ( y amiga's) we are america , we are the people - never let the other's instill doubt about that in ur pretty lil heads ( and plz act accordingly ) be safe ya'll

Hi. My name is Mike and I'm 26. I'm a police officer from Pennsylvania. I am a member on glocktalk (glock4529) and a few questions that I have had have been answered over here, so I thought, what the heck and joined. I am currently expanding my semi-auto pistols. I have had good experiences with my Glocks and HK's. I am now venturing down the Sig route (made in Germany only). If I can be of any assistance to anyone, drop me a message.

New Member

Hi ya'll--I live in upstate SC(home) after many years in NC mtns., SW VA and two stints in Montana. Been lurking here and other forums a coupla years, just now getting back hands-on into hunting/shooting after a break of several years(just wasn't the same after my Springer passed). Thinkin' again about a Boykin/Springer/GSP.
Mostly interested again in upland birds, done a fair bit of smokepole shootin' for deer; accurate rifles w/quality optics have always interested me, and I'm recently enamored of Spanish SXS's.
Been an outdoorsman all my life, currently working in Outdoors Retail.
Also love to bass fish after many years 'of the fly'.

Here for comaraderie, philosophy related to the outdoor life, practical info and a rekindling of the flame---would appreciate everyone's support and guidance to that end:) Thanks.

New here, but not a noob. Member of BerettaForum, Calguns, RugerForum.
Glad to be here!!!! Currently have 3 Berettas, a Ruger.

Hello Gents - Not much to say beyond the comments in the profile - live in a small Louisiana town about 1500 God fearing people - white, black and dash of others - The Lord has blessed me and given me the means to retired from law practice and live in a Grand Old Pre War of Northern Aggression Home built in 1840, with a real live Confederate Soldier buried in the back yard, (rumored to be dead, if you believe the ghosts)…A few guns in the bed room allow me and my Scottie, Bonnie Blue Rose, to sleep soundly at night. Returned from US Army in early 60’s with some German military stuff… been able to hold on to most of it despite annoying wives, (Graduates from UC Berkeley Boalt Law) and Katrina. And now I might want to add a piece or two, every once in a while, mostly to upset the liberals lady friends and keep the riff raft at bay. Keep them guessing you know. I am looking around to buy some authentic stuff; shopping for a combat Mauser Rifle 98 at the moment… and/or other items of genuine origin. Any hints or advise – don’t plan on shooting anyone unless absolutely necessary.
Take care,
