Surviving the future by studying current wisdom...
Hello,
I'm an American citizen who isn't a
doom & gloom worshiper as much as a student of history. After studying good bit of history, I now realize the very real possibilities that we may be facing (Americans & other nationalities, alike) in the very near future. As a result I have been researching practical methods, materials, and tools with which to best prepare for those
possible eventualities.
It was in my search that I came across the writings/posts of FerFal, a member of this forum. I joined this forum after having found out that he was banned [for religious reasons - as well as reasons relating to racism on the part of the forum moderators] over at
Frugal Squirrel.
If I've learned one thing, it's the fact that if we are all going to survive the future, it's going to involve sticking together & helping each other out. NOT ostricizing each other based on racial or religious bias.
For what it's worth, I only joined
Frugal Squirrel a few days ago thinking that FerFal was still a member & moderator there, hoping to learn from his true-to-life experiences in Argentina, post 2001. As it is, I have officially quit them &, in so doing, reminded them that it was the
Catholic Church (the very people they said were 'going to hell', if I understand correctly) who carried the torch of Christianity through the Dark Ages and beyond...
Either way, I'm now a member of this forum & am looking forward to gleaning useful information & contributing as much as I can.
Sincerely,
-USD
