Hello! I'm not exactly new as I've been lurking for a few months now.
I'm a pharmacy student finishing my second year of pre-requisites (A's across the board so far
) and plan to transfer to a university very soon.
I don't yet have a firearm, and renting is prohibitively expensive at ranges in my area, but I'm saving up to take the plunge.
I've shot a real gun maybe 3 times in my life overall, but enjoyed the experience. (AK47, CZ75B, and some nice target .22lr handgun i cant remember)
From my limited experience I can say I like the looks/feel of ruger mark I's, any decent 1911 platform, and sig sauer pistols.
I really like the content on this board, but more importantly the attitude of posters. Everyone here seems to be very conscious of safety and the gravity of reality, but also kind and mature. I look forward to sticking around, but it's 3am and I'm calling it a night
