In case anyone missed it, this was posted in the top sticky regarding components a couple days ago. Checked earlier today, and they are still available.

NormaShooting and sister site AmmoShopOnline have Argentinian made Aventuras y Servicios small pistol primers available again. $65/brick. Free shipping over $150 and there still appears to be No Hazmat Fee. Wow.

There is a Sportsman Warehouse near where I am right now, so went in with another person and scored 600 Fiocchi SP primers. Works out to $55 per K, including tax. Fiocchi is a brand I know and trust, although these will be the first of their primers I've used.

There good primers and that was a good price.

One thing I’ve noticed while setting primers into virgin brass with a hand priming tool is the tool itself can make a HUGE difference in how much effort is required to set a primer to the bottom of the pocket followed by a slight ( approx .002) crush.
The FA or RCBS style just doesn’t provide the same leverage as an upper end model like Sinclair, K&M or 21st century.
