You realize that your Dillon manual is not going to tell you everything you need to know about loading rifle rounds. It's assumed that you are already very good at it before you get a press that advanced. Checking and trimming after resize will help you not get blown up. Dillon makes a very nice electric trimmer that takes up one station on your press.
It sounds like you need to do alot more reading.
You are way late. I was already sizing and measuring cases to make sure they were within spec. Once I used all those I started sizing, then trimming. the rounds are subsonic and are shooting well.
