In wich case what does a 17 magnum revolver kill that a 22 won't? A 3000fps bottleneck cartridge would be down a lot more than 600 fps in a wheel gun..ant that's IF pressures and thrusts aren't above the threshold where case setback and throat erosion become issues

In the other thread about this the general consensus was that this cartridge is a good development for states where rimfires are required for certain game.
