New Taurus 856

Got a new taurus 856 recently. Love the idea of a small pocket 6 shooter as opposed to the 5 shots. Here she is with my 66 smith and Case bowie. She will be relegated to a "grocery gun" basically something for when kids need milk and I dont feel like carrying a 1911 and the 66

Congrats! It is on my list for sure. Might be first Taurus. I have been looking to add another J Frame Smith so think I will give one a try. (economy too uncertain for now). Seems like great reviews every where. Please keep posting in the future on results. Nice looking gun.

I will, need to shoot both of them. The taurus has a very heavy trigger pull compared to the smith I have air blasted and lube the insides of the taurus and it got somewhat. Been dry firing a couple hundred times a day to get it working well

Might try out one of the spring kits like Gallaway etc. Or just wear it in.

I may go that route, 12.50 is not a bad price if it can really decrease that trigger pull, while I dont mind heavier triggers this thing is both heavy and clunky, so hopefully that spring set helps, thanks for the recommendation.

From what I understand.... this year ...But .. who knows how the Virus has impacted the plans ...
