Just curious how many guys (and gals) are on here from new york that might be interested in having a get together somewhere, sometime. I see all the happy folks from around the nation getting together for some fun, just makes me wish there were more of us from NY on here.

at last! someone responded! I think some sort of meet up, maybe in the central region of the state would be mutually beneficial to the members upstate and downstate (as i'm an upstate guy). I hope some more folks respond.

A cross-the-border excursion may be just the ticket. I think I shoot more often in NY than in PA anyway. I'm just south of Binghamton.

Lots of albany area folks... Lousy sesspool of a city anyhow.. So folks wanna go to the albany area for a shoot. I'm out in the western region of the state myself, binghamton area. I'm willing to go where the crowd goes. Lets put some more folks onto the list though. Get some more PA folks too! Just uh... remember to leave the machine guns at home Hehehe...

Well, that's 6 so far, when we do set this up, feel free to bring your friends with you! The more the merrier. I do have my own, uh, personal range (read that as not an empty field out on the back 40 that's full of junk ) out here in the middle of nowhere. But that's a long ways for you downstate guys to travel.

I'm danm near into Canada...55 mile N. of Syracuse and 13 miles S. of Watertown.
the weekend of June 11-13 the guys from AR15.com and the Falfiles.com had a campout and shoot in Utica, we had a great time! and everyone got marksmanship qualification for CMP purchases of rifles.

Well guys, I know that you've brought it up now that ar15.com and falfiles had a shoot around utica. Where would we like to have ours? I'm open to suggestions? And what would be a good date?

FP1201 brought it to my attention that you needed a rallying point, I'd welcome any member of THR to our shoot next year! I've been on this board since early this year, but haven't posted for a while.

The 2nd Annual GUNS ALONG THE MOHAWK was bigger and better this year, and I expect it'll be better next year with your help!

I'm in the planning stages of a "Black Rifle Hunt" in the Adirondacks for this fall, if anyone would be interested.

I applaud your efforts, and if any of you have a rod and gun club in your area that will act as a host for a shoot?
That's how we got started, I asked the president of our club if we could host a shoot, and that's how GUNS ALONG THE MOHAWK got it's start.

Def. interested in a black rifle hunt or anything this summer.

I'm free most weekends, I have a place to crash up about an hour west of albany so if this could be a weekend thing I can do it.
