Why would you NEED a gun with armed secret service protecting you 24 hours a day anyway? If I was able to have 2 "dudes" follow me everywhere with, say, MP5s, I might be OK with another AWB
so long as those 2 dudes are on some one elses dime, i dont trust them any more than anyone else.
theres a reason roman armys would revolt so quickly and support thier generals so strongly... the knew the hand that fed them. and if i had 2 goons who are taking pay from some one else to protect me. how likely is it that they would also do me in if the price was right or thier butt was on the line

C'mon, this is low, even for us. Saying that SS (I love that abbreviation!) agents being armed while the Clintons lived in the White House constitutes Hillary "keeping a gun in the house" is an absurd stretch of words. Those guns would not have been under her control, and she didn't have any say in whether or not they were there.
Now, the duck hunting may be a good point to exploit, but let's not stretch words, lest we find ourselves debating the meaning of "is."

I thought it was an interesting question. I'd like to have heard some of them expand on it.
Here is what I noticed from the question. I wish someone had it recorded and could double check, but the question was to raise a hand if you kept a gun in the house at some point in your adult life. One or two raised hands immediately, and slowly but sure over about the next 10-15 seconds a few more slowly raised their hands. Most of them did not want to admit it. Even Kucinich raised his hand after seeing several others go up.
The Clintons have had armed security guards at least since he was elected governor or Arkansas, which is by now, I think, most of their lives. Even if Bill did hunt, SHE would not have had a gun, so she is technically correct.
One sign of a smart and adroit politician is to tell the exact truth, but let listeners believe it means something it doesn't. Remember, Bill said he didn't "have sex" with Monica - the exact truth, but carefully excluding actions other people might think of as "sex".

Yes indeed, a real journalist would have asked the follow-up question "If you didn't have round the clock armed security and were responsible for your own safety, then would you own a gun?"
But she's a liar, so what difference would it make. You'll get a difference answer depending on who's listening...hell, you'll get a different ACCENT depending on who's she's pandering too.
