I am seriously lusting after a Beretta that I don't believe has ever actually been manufactured.
I want a stainless 92FS Centurian, but with an all steel frame. I know the 92s were, once upon a time, made with a stainless steel frame as a variant. And I believe the Centurian lower was identical to the normal, full sized 92/96 lower.
So, first question, does anyone know for sure that a Centurian slide will fit on a frame from a full sized 92?
And second, I haven't been able to find either a used stainless Centurian (or any at all for that matter) or a steel lower. Any of you guys see any of these around? Are they still somewhat available? Or just about extinct?
