Hello, I'm a FL CCW license holder. I'm wondering which other state's non-resident permit would give me the most additional states that I can carry in?

Thanks,
Michael

GA, DE, AL, MS, LA, TX NM, AZ, UT, ID, WY, MT, ND, SD, OK, AR, MO, TN, NC, VA, IN, OH, PA and if you are a FL resident CO, KS, WV and MI are covered by the FL permit.

Utah.
New Hampshire.

Since you already have a Florida CCW: Getting a New Hampshire CCW would not give you any new states, and a Utah CCW will only gain you Washington and Minnesota. After that I think you are going to have to peck away one state at a time.

Since you have Florida, you are covered for every state except for these:
MA -> Non-res can be had, but I think it is like $100 and only good for a year, also not easy to get.
CT -> I think I remember hearing that they can be had, not too hard either
RI -> I know nothing
NJ -> Forget about it
MD -> Forget about it
DC -> Forget it, until Miller vs. DC is decided
SC -> Does not recognize any other state permit, does not have a non-res option
NY -> Does not recognize any other state permit, does not have a non-res option
ME -> I know nothing
WI -> I know nothing
IL -> Forget it
MN -> Can be picked up on a Utah permit
IA -> I know nothing
NE -> I know nothing
WA -> Can be picked up on a Utah permit
OR -> I know nothing
NV -> I know nothing
CA -> Forget it

Nevada just passed a reciprocity law, I do not know what states will be honored. The list is still coming out.

List will be out in the next 28 days. UT &/or FL should be on the list.
