Rusty, don't forget you're supposed to shoot some of them-

True, but that is only so you have empty cases that you can reload! Don't let shooting and training get in the way of serious reloading. Maybe get your wife to go to the range and empty all that brass for you so you can stay home and learn to cast bullets or extrude cases.

Just completed my order from Midway thanks to you all. I will also be getting an extra turret plate and the 4 45ACP Dies. Got all of the following:
Code:
Lee Auto Disk Powder Measure Riser $6.99

I'm going to use my 20 bucks I get for ordering the rcbs tumbler towards a digital scale. I'll start purchasing dies, tools with my lunch money

Anyone know where you can pick up deburring tools that will fit a power drill or dremel tool?

almost forgot.

Based on the 45 bucks cabelas wanted to throw my way. I decided to purchase a springfield armory xd in .40 and a couple of other things like my trickler, funnel, the lyman book 48th addition. so for my $500 bucks I got a $150 gift card. So I got half of my stuff for free. Atleast thats what I told Tammy:eek:

Crawlin, congrats on your new Lee setup. You won't be sorry. I made 100 rounds the other night and it was easy. Everything worked great and I didn't have any problems. I am reloading 9mm. I made 3 batches of 20 rounds each with 115 gr and 2 batches of 124 gr. I haven't been able to go shooting yet but I will let you know how it goes when I do. Keep us up to date on how everything goes.
Cabowabo, Congrats on your new reloading setup. I'm sure you guys will find it as addicting as I have. Good luck to you both and safe shooting.
Rusty

Crawlin and Cabowabo,

Don't forget to get dial calipers (measure OAL, and other case and bullet dimensions). OAL is important in order to stay within safe pressures for the loads given in manuals.

And you both bought a couple of manuals, too, right? ;)

Yea, I got a couple of manuals. My stuff comes in today and I will start working with it after I set it up. I can't wait.

Yes Sir

R&S,

Yes thank you for the reminder. Harbor Freight is having a huge sidewalk sale. I'm going to get 0-4 micrometers. They seem farly well built.

I've got the "ABC Of Reloading" and Lyman's 48th Edition. My dear friend has the lates speer, lee and about 12 other books. I would rather spend my coin on accessories and just borrow his books : )
