i had one of those blue creedmoor cart/stand/chair contraptions (which was awesome) and i would rest my rifle on it between shots, but i could easily have turned it around sat down without moving my feet out of position.
seems like standing up and sitting down 10 times would be more work than just standing for 10 minutes.
Or twenty when shooting an 800 aggregate NRA match.
Most guys use a cart or a stool placed along the line facing them, put their gear on it, and lean over to record shots & such. Like Tom, we'd all rest the rifle on it between shots, too.
Unless my 'puter is FUBAR'd, you linked to stripper clips and something else unintelligible.
OK, you do realize that NRA and CMP matches are shot slow fire, single load at the offhand stages, right? You cannot have a mag fully loaded to shoot the slow fire stages. The mag is completely empty. The competitor loads single rounds into the chamber.
I've seen folks with physical issues do the exact same thing out on the line during standing SF. As long as you don't move your feet, your NPA will remain the same.
