NRA Magazines What's Up?

I joined the NRA over a month ago and am still waiting for the magazine. Anybody know when they mail them out? Has anyone got November's issue yet ? we signed up for American Rifleman and America's First Freedom ( 2 memberships)

Same problem here joined 6 weeks ago at a gun show and not a word or even a thanks for joining letter yet. The only thing that I can think is they backed up with the election. Wasn't real wild about joining in the first place but now I'm really starting to second guess myself. Hope I'm wrong but can't look back now.

Takes a while guys. Dunno why but it does. I think its mostly because they get a set of them printed and ready to go and they have to figure in new members and then factor those into the next printing.

I joined two months ago and I did get my magazine, they promised an NRA duffle for joining, I still haven't seen that yet.

I for one would like to thank you guys for joining, I fear that we will need all the members we can get.

Most subscriptions to magazines take 6-8 weeks for the first magazine, so just hang on a few more weeks.

I joined in August, and got my first magazine, the one with Obama
on the front in October. Be patient and it will arrive.

When I joined about 2 yrs ago... It took about 6-8 weeks for the magazine and about 2 mos for a baseball cap.
It will get done. They are pretty good about everything.

You haven't missed much, they've spent the last few months filling the magazine with anti-Obama propaganda. I mean, I get it, we don't like the guy, but I'd really like to read some actual content in the magazine.

After I joined (Lifetime member) it took like 6 mos to get my jacket, but the mags were like six weeks.

And I must concur the first freedom mags for the last few months have all been about the election and Obama. Talk about preaching to the choir!

I signed on board about a month ago and haven't seen anything yet. I'm not worried, and I'd rather they save the money than send me anything silly like a baseball cap or duffle bag.

Give them a call. When I joined a few years ago I was supposed to get the ball cap. After about a month and half I never got it so I called them. They apologized and they said they would also give me a free duffle bag because I had to wait. I had them in a week. If you've only got a few handguns and a few boxes of ammo, it makes a great range bag I can put all 4 of my pistols along with my hearing and eye protection and about 10 boxes of ammo in mine.

You joined to support a worthwhile organization that defends our gun rights, not for some crappy duffle bag (and trust me, its crappy) or some magazine. These will eventually show up, along with the NRA junk mail. Give it time, I'm sure they are backed up. In the meantime be proud of your new membership and spread the word. The NRA's gonna need a lot of $$$ in the coming months and years.

I don't see the magazine as crappy. I was hopping it would be a useful resource for RKBA activism. Am i going to be disappointed?
