The thing that gets me with these kinds of "NRA rants" is the continual usage of "THE NRA", like we're some sort of behemoth, distant organization. If you're a member, then it's "WE", not they. You don't have to be a paid employee to use the term "WE".
An organization is only as good as its members. Take a kid shooting. Teach your kids gun safety. Also, work on getting pro-gun candidates elected this fall. We owe this to our kids and grandkids.
If you want to opt out of the mailings, you can do so by dialing 1-888-672-3888. It's simple. If you're on the fence and thinking about joining or renewing, do so. If you like, you can save $10 in doing so by going through the link on our
webpage. Or, you can give the NRA the extra ten dollars by signing up via the 888 number, and this $10 can be put to good use.
Remember, it's your choice. It's not you against us. It's you and I and our fellow shooters working as a cohesive group of pro-gun activists, teaching our kids and grandkids gun safety, marksmanship, and all that goes along with it to ensure that we have guns for a long time. It's when we lose sight of our true objectives and we lose sight of the fact that there are those who would most certainly trample our right to bear arms that we get in trouble.
Work together. Get pro-gun people elected, and take a kid shooting.
