NRA Rewards Platinum Visa Card?

What Reward points? I just got an email from the NRA asking me to get this card....I get a 25 dollar gift certificate to Cabela's the first time I use it, and I earn 1 point for each dollar I spend....BUT WHAT DOES A POINT GET ME?! They left that part out! lol.

Anyone have this visa card? If so, are the points worth anything? Or just a status thing (i.e. "I donated x points to the NRA this year"?).

It's no annual fee, but I just don't them calling it a rewards card if there aren't any rewards.

Actually, that web page doesn't say anything about earning 1 point per dollar spent...but it WAS in the email they sent me...dunno. Just curious.

it's all buried in the summary of credit terms link at the bottom of the page you posted a link to. (you know...the stuff nobody ever reads)

Rewards Advantage® program members will earn 1 point for each $1.00 in Qualifying Credit Card Transactions charged on his/her credit card account.

This bonus points offer is in addition to the standard points earned on Qualifying Credit Card Transactions. Earn 3,000 bonus points when the first purchase, balance transfer or cash advance is posted to your account within the first three billing cycles after your account is opened. After you receive your new card, you will receive a Redemption Guide with a full list of participating merchants. You must call the toll-free number or visit the website featured in the guide to request your $25 Cabela’s gift card. Or, you can use those points for other redemption items within the Rewards Advantage® program. Please allow 6-8 weeks after you qualify for bonus points to be added to your point balance. If, as of the date First Bankcard (a division of First National Bank of Omaha) determines whether you meet the terms of this offer, your account is closed or not in good standing, you will not receive bonus points.

BTW I don't use credit cards anymore.

The rewards end up costing you more with the interest you pay on your purchases than just buying the stuff at retail.
