She did say that she would support McCarthys new bill on "Back Ground" checks. I don't know what that means?

I think it's about requiring gun store owners to do NICS checks of all their employees. That's the last McCarthy legislation on background checks that I've heard of.

Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I saw that as Gillibrand's way of saying "You can stick your AWB where the sun don't shine."
