The 74 school shootings has been debunked. The figures of school shootings included events where robbery suspects were chased onto school grounds by police after the school closed. Many of the school shootings were also suicides of single individuals on campus including people that had simply chosen a school parking lot at night to park their car.
School shooting sounds so much more alarmist and even "common sense" and "reasonable" gun-control measures are only going to prove to be as ineffective as they have before. In the entire 10 YEAR decade of the 1960's (A PARTICULARLY VIOLENT DECADE WITH CAMPUS BOMBINGS...THE SDS, WEATHERMEN...AND SLA NEVER MIND THE CIVIL RIGHTS RIOTS) there were SEVENTEEN school shootings. Firearms and military surplus arms and ammunition could be mail-ordered including semi-auto handguns and long guns. No questions asked. In the 4 1/2 years of 2010-2014 there have been a reported NINETY-FOUR. What has changed...the $18.3 billion market for psychtropic drugs being pumped down the throats of young adults and their parents.
THESE DRUGS CARRY A SPECIFIC "BLACK BOX" WARNING FROM THE FDA THAT WITHDRAWAL FROM THESE DRUGS CAN CAUSE EXTREME HOSTILE BEHAVIOR AND SUICIDE IN UNDER TWENTY-FIVE YEAR OLD PATIENTS.
THE GOVERNMENTAL DRUG AGENCIES OF EUROPE AND THE BRITISH COMMONWEALTH HAVE SPECIFICALLY PROHIBITED, UNLESS IN A VERY SPECIFIC RANGE OF INDICATIONS, THE PRESCRIBING THESE PSYCHOTROPIC DRUGS TO THE UNDER EIGHTEEN AGE GROUP BECAUSE OF THE STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF THESE VIOLENCE AND SUICIDES IN THE UNDER TWENTY-FIVE AGE GROUP AFTER WITHDRAWAL. DOCTORS IN THE UNITED STATES ARE PRESCRIBING THESE DRUGS TO EVEN PRE-TEENS FOR AS LITTLE REASON AS WEIGHT LOSS.
The AWB and other laws didn't stop Columbine. California has extremely restrictive gun laws including extensive back-ground checks and magazine limitations. The Santa Barbara shooter had followed these laws verbatim. What is a common factor in almost every shooting...withdrawal from these psychotropic drug by young men. CONTINUING TO WRITE INEFFECTIVE LAWS AS AN INEFFECTIVE SOLUTION TO AN INCREASING PROBLEM IS INSANITY AND IDIOTIC IN ITS REPEATED PROVEN USELESNESS.
