OC Stops BG in Robbery

lucky the OC was obviously not seen by the BG .... does anyone doubt the BG would have
shot the GO ... before the unarmed storeowner?

Right. Fortunately, the robber didn't bring his A game.

There is a video I have seen several times where a robber tries to hold up a convenience store with a knife and does so with a cop in line behind him who is waiting to buy coffee. The cop steps back and sets down his coffee and draws his gun before giving the suspect orders. The suspect seemed all surprised to get busted, claiming he wasn't doing anything wrong. No all bad guys are smart.

I don't seem to see any of them saying how bad of an idea it was for the good guy to start shooting because all those other people in the store aren't his concern like they always do.

The reason for that is because the BG started the festivities by shooting the cashier. Once shots have been fired and people are going down with bullet holes in them, the decision to engage the shooter or not is not subject to the same considerations as when the BG brandishes a weapon and says, "give me the money and nobody gets hurt." Instead of a petty robbery, the situation is now a murder scene.

it reads the BG had a revolver, fired 2x at the Storeman, and fired at least 3 x at the OC ...
...assuming this brainiac-BG didnt carry an 8-shot wonder-wheelgun-tank like some of the guys on THR do ( ) that leaves only another shot in his revolver, or he´s empty
if it was a 5-shooter ....

by that time even non-armed i would have started throwing tin-cans, bottles and myself at the BG .... to assist the OC.

He had hit 2 times and was willing to hit maybe one more .... sure it´s dangerous,
but it´s not like the guy had another 12 in the magazine, and nobody wants to wait for the reload, right?
