Once again, Bogie's nailed it. Stand off, watch and wait, finger on the cell phone.

If it was for federal security clearance it would more likely than not be the Secret Service not the state police. I have done several of these over the years for former employees.
Nah, I've worked in that world.
Office of Personnel Management, Defense Investigative Service, sometimes FBI. Occasionally, they draft BATFE and other types for Federal clearance work if they're really shorthanded.
First rule of gun fighting: don't be there. When you know a home invasion is coming, call in the troops and sit back.how the hell is defending your home "not your job"!?!?
Unmarked silver Mercedes looking car
They asked about my military service and whether I was involved in any militias or groups planning to overthrow the government.
a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied
males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section
313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a
declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States
and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the
National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are -
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard
and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of
the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the
Naval Militia.
One is FBI the other is state police.
This story is BS.
Sorry.
FBI? Asking for your screen names? Gimme a break. They can lift that in about 2 seconds. They'd know if you were involved in anything illegal and would have no reason to talk to you or ask you about screen names.
