Of these listed which would you pick for your CCW and why?

I really like the S&W M&P9C. It's a very nice carry gun.

I choose the XD full size 45 ACP w night sights for a number of reasons.

1. I like the 45 caliber. Big bullets make big holes.
2. It's polymer so it's lighter to carry and I find the recoil acceptable. This also helps with corrosion issues.
3. The 13+1 capacity is a good ammount. Since you can't know what threat you are facing, the 14 rounds would likely get you through two, maybe three, goblins before needing a reload.

I have no problem if others want to carry something else. At the end of the day it's a personal matter.

After having looked at the list, I chose "none of the above." Won't own a Glock and if I wanted a .45 ACP, I would get a service-style Colt. The S&W would be close, but not close enough. I'd be more inclined to get a Beretta PX4 Storm Compact. It's only slightly larger than the Smith but it holds more ammunition (15+1 in 9mm, 12+1 in .40 S&W).

Besides, if you've got the bucks for a Kimber, you've got the bucks for a SIG and the SIG is a tough gun to beat.

BTW: Won't own a Kahr because I don't like Reverend Moon or the Unification Church and Kahr is a subsidiary in Moon's empire.
