Today's carry (and also for Wheelgun Wednesday) will be my S&W Hand Extractor in 32S&W Long made sometime between 1940 and 1942 so jess barely older than me.
I only have one gun older than me. Stevens 58, single shot, bolt action 410, 1933-1943. But, I have several guns older than most people here that I bought new. That should tell you something.
My oldest rifles date to the late 1860's, and most are 1870-1880's era. The exact amount I'm unsure of without counting them? But all are in shooting condition, and I make brass, or reform brass to be able to shoot them all.
I'm 67.
Of the 114 complete firearms. 93 are older than I am.
2 of the newer ones don't work properly.
-I've got a lot of spare parts that I don't count, of course... .
Had a Savage 99 that was younger than me by three weeks, made in February 1951. I had my grandpa’s double barrel 12 gauge that he bought in the late 1800’s. A Colt 1911 my neighbor carried in WW II. All are gone.
I've got 14 ,or so . I was born in '64 .Seven are at least a hundred , including two Savage 99's that I hunt with , a 92 Winchester 25-20 that I use some , a 1911 .32 S&W hand ejector , a 1907 .351 Win , a 12 gauge baker SxS and a 1914 pattern 14 Enfield Eddystone that if they made a thousand a day , they made mine before lunch on the first day .
