Omega Norinco Chinese Honor Guard SKS

Just saw a Ad in shotgun news for a Norinco Chinese Honor Guard SKS from Omega weapons systems. It looks like a chrome sks. Says same SKS used by the Chinese PLA honer guard. Also says only 150 imported in 1994. Looks intresting. They want $499.99 for one.

Anyone pick one up? Pretty nice? Are the C&R?

Also wonder why in the picture its shows the chrome bayonet not attached to the rifle.

I saw the ad too. I have bought a lot of milsurps from Omega and have never been disappointed. They're honest folks. I just don't see a $499.99 Norinco Chinese SKS in my future when I already have a $395 and a $199 one already. Now, if it were a chromed T53 Honor Guard rifle it might be a different story.

They are the original but never issued Chinese HG rifles Don was the only one who ever got em and has been dribbling em out to dealers for years, they are a threaded barrel brand new all chromed with leather sling chrome hardware on the slings etc... not a whole lot of em, All have been in their original boxes in a back room for the last 17 years, they come with the certificate from the Chinese of authenticity....

And no these are far far above the quality of your average SKS, if ya look at a pic of Chinese HG ya will see these exact rifles, the wood, leather everything is immaculate

Because the bayonet doesn't come attached to the rifle normally as they were not allowed back when these were imported. Don doesn't attach em as they tend to not ship well with the bayos attached.

BTW, All previously sold ones were sold without the bayo, because they were banned etc... the bayo itself is a rarity
