I have been rotating between my Kimber Compact, Walther P99, and G23 in IDPA matches over the past several months. Each has its own distinctive qualities and appeal. I like them all. BUT, I do notice one feature of a Glock that appeals to me over the others - namely, its low bore axis. I mean, that barrel is sitting literally right on top of your hand, or so it seems. As a consequence, the sights are low, low, low and I have found that I pick them up much faster than the 1911 or P99. Anyone else find this to be the advantage that I do?
