an Ishapore SMLE in 7.62 NATO battle rifle, and an Ishapore SMLE 7.62 NATO bolt-action rifle. Yep, same thing; both bolt-action; both battle rifles.

Another vote for an Ishy .308. I have a 1966 vintage Ishy .308 and just love shooting it. If you practice doing the "mad minute" you would be surprised how much aimed fired you can get with one of these old bolt actions.

Fal and a Rem 700 in 300WM...Better to have it and not need it....than need it and not have it.

308 Israeli Mauser's...they were sold a few years back, and can still find them on the used gun racks......solid guns and mostly great bores.....

"PTR 91, fewest moving parts, roller lock is never dirty or unreliable, cheap plentiful mags.
Then I'd go with a savage or a weatherby vanguard sub MOA rifle. So a battle rifle and a precision bolt gun. The bolt would get a 4-16 optic with target turrets."

This is exactly my setup.
