Congratulations on turning 45, and happy belated birthday. I turned 50 a couple of years ago and picked up a .50 cal muzzleloader, and a .50AE Dessert Eagle. Could not have been more pleased with either!!! My wife and I are celebrating our 20 anniversary and I am eagerly awaiting a .500S&W Magnum 6.5" barrel to show up at my FFL on Wednesday, and she just got a Taurus 1911 Gov't model yesterday. The numbers don't always work out, but celebrating ANY event with a gun purchase is just fine by me!!!! :D :D

Does anyone make a .59 caliber? I'm having a tough time making 59 break down into anything normal...

Wait till next year & get two Mosin Nagants...;)

Oooopssss.... Wrong forum. How 'bout a couple 7.62 Tokarevs?

OOOOPSSSS ... stil worng. I give up. :(

Sniderman...... Only thing I can come up with for your 60th?

Got to the range today, at 15 yards it's pretty much on the sights with 3 brands of 250gr "Cowboy" loads, but did seem to like Mag-Tech a little better.

Nickel plated sights in bright daylight, were a problem, I may have to do something to the back of the front sight blade to make it stand out better from the rear sight!!!

Like this gun, shoot really well, even with the heavy trigger pull.

But what do you do when you're 53? Wait till your next birthday and buy a muzzle loader, I guess:)

Enjoy your new gun, YOUNGSTER!!

I read the title to this thread

Saw picture of your new pistol

My hat's off to you, Sir.
Well done. Well done, indeed.

That's very nice. Everyone who likes firearms should own at least one .45 caliber handgun. The .45 Colt is my favorite and if you handload, a very flexible and useful cartridge...I have a .58 caliber Zouave Musket replica and just got a like new S&W M58 so I am set for the next birthday.

To counter the new fangled toys, I do have 5 revolvers. One is a cap and ball Pietta 1860 and one is a Ruger Single Six for that old style single action flavor.

Anyway, congrats on your new revolver and happy birthday BCCL.
