Opinions on the Sig P229ST .40S&W?
I was at the range Sat. with my P228, and after I was done shooting, I saw the Sig P229ST .40S&W for sale up in the gunshop; it was a (barely) used consignment piece, and the price was $705.00. I compared it side-by-side with my P228, and was surprised that it didn't seem much heavier than my P228, and the trigger on it was almost identical to the excellent trigger on my P228.
The .40 is not my favorite caliber, although I like my CZ 75B in that caliber. I have always liked my P228, and won't part with it, but this gun just looks beautiful in all-stainless. I had my Uncle Mikes Old-World Pancake holster with me, and it hostered perfectly in it. I have nothing I want to trade off, and the gun fund is presently depleted, but this one just moved to the top of my wish list.
Any other opinions out there?
