I'm looking for top quality leather, lined, high-ride strong side pancake style holster w/thumb break for S&W N-frame 4" (M57).

And for K-frames, M66s and 19s, both 4" and 2.5-3".

Googling holster makers brings up a very long and bewildering variety, most of whom I've never heard of.

I know revolvers are sort of a fading market, are there any of the better makers out there left offering this sort of leather?

Thanks,

Simply Rugged is usually one of the first recommended for the big revolvers. I don't think they line them though.

I've seen a few guys on the forum with Lobo Gun Leather pancakes that look nice. Most have been for little j-frames, but he does offer them for the larger revolvers and does offer a thumb break.

El Paso Saddlery is another option.

Tucker makes a pancake that you can get lined, but no thumb break. They used to offer it, but like most, have stopped offering them.

You can get the Andrews "Saddle Style" with a thumb break, but I'm not sure it is available for revolvers. I just never looked.

I have Lobo Model 1 Pancake holsters for my 2" J Frame, and 3" 625. I have the Enhanced Pancakes for my 310 Night Guard, 610 N Frame 4", 64 HB 4".

I have mine all Detail Boned, and with Inner Hammer Shields. Thumb Break and Lined are Options. From the e-mail order till you have it in hand should be under 6 weeks. I normally e-mail my order getting on the list, and doing a price check, then mail Ray a check.

Ray also makes his version of an Avenger. Another great 1911 holster.
