Hello everyone,

This is my first post here, just found your community here and you guys seem like a pretty good bunch so I decided to join. Anyways I have recently purchaced a Guns & Ammo Anniversery Edition Ruger P90 and was wondering anyone else with a p90 or a DA Ruger P series how hevy is your trigger pull on single action? The reason I ask this is because I had a local shop measure mine and it was 3.2lbs. The owner was shocked and said that this is increadable for a Ruger with no trigger job. He also noted that the acton and everything seemed alot smoother than normal. What I am wondering is since it is a special edition could they have done some extra tigger and tune up work to it, because she also shoots better than any other pistol I have shot. Here is a pic.

3.2 pounds is amazingly low for ANY factory trigger pull. Must custom-made guns don't go below 3.5 pounds for safety/durability reasons unless they are competition pieces.

Welcome Crewchief

That looks alot like my old P89, but the SA pull was nowhere near 3.5lbs. At 3.5 trigger pull on a p 90 you have one sweet gun. The only thing missing would be a little less bulk, but iln doing that I think you would loss that "built like a tank" characteristic of the Ruger P series.

Thanks for the replys. That was my point is that this gun is way different(not that it's a bad thing) and I don't understand. I had the trigger wieghed by this dealer because he is also a gunsmith. Like I said 3.2lbs. no BS and unlike anything he has seen. Oh and I also did not pay anywhere close to that listing price. Looks like I found a jewel and I am keeping her.
