I am looking at the replacement sight options for a Para 1911 GI. I emailed Para for information and received this response.

Novak front: .250X.185 @ 20 degrees / Rear .375 @ 30 degrees

I am assuming: Front: .250 is the max width dimension of the dovetail, .185 is the blade width (or is this the depth?) and 20 degrees is the angle (Is this normally expressed as 90-20= 70 degrees?)
Rear: .375 max width of the dovetail, 30 degrees angle (60 degrees?)
Do these dimensions equate to any standard?
Midway/Brownells doesn't have any listing for the GI Expert yet.
Help?
