Okay, so it's not actually going to be an Evil Black Rifle, I'm going to have it finished in a desert kind of camo, but you get the drift. I just purchased an Armalite lower receiver and want to start a build up. I'm getting my uppers from Accuracy Systems in Denver, one in 450 Marlin and one in 7mm-08. Between these two, my .22, and a 12 gauge I figure I'm ready to hunt anything anywhere I'll be in the Western Hemisphere (though I won't likely leave Alaska or the Western US.)
Is there a specific company that any of you would recommend for purchasing other parts?
What parts does this have in common with the AR-15? Can I use grips, trigger groups, stocks, etc. made for the AR-15? One of the reasons I really like the feel of the EBRs over, say, a BAR or a 7400 is the pistol grip. I'd like to use one with a similar feel to the Pachmayr, I'm hoping they're available.
