I used a few of the German CO2 guns when I lived in England.
The S&W was much better to shoot than any of the semiautos. It's generally well thought of in the UK.
Better trigger and better accuracy, especially if you go for the six inch barrel option.
None of them are suitable for small game though. Just not powerful enough.
