if one were to cut a barrel down to say 12" then attach a suppressor and perm attach it, would you still have to pay the tax stamp for an SBR? or just for the suppressor?
This one is 16.125 with the endcap off, and very quite.
Who is the manufacture?Specifically what information are you wanting?
You would only need the Form 1/4 for the suppressor. The key is that 'technically' you have to build the unit off of the receiver and only attach it after the suppressor is permanently mounted. Not hard at all with an AR, but a bit more involved with a bolt gun.if one were to cut a barrel down to say 12" then attach a suppressor and perm attach it, would you still have to pay the tax stamp for an SBR? or just for the suppressor?
