imo, the xdm 3.8 is just dumb. barrel length isn't difficult to conceal -- grip thickness and length is. the xdm 3.8 is the answer to a question that nobody asked.

also, if you want to conceal it, i don't know why you're looking at ANY of the guns you listed. imo, you should be looking at the compacts. m&pc9, xdc9, g19/g26, etc.

Since none of us are aliens that have our appendix below our waistline that may be a little tough. Your appendix is above your waistline and the shorter barrel wouldn't have any effect on that and it would effect it only if you carried in front of your hip bone in "appendix carry" which most people don't do.
