This happened in the county in which I work.
I also work one night each week in pizza delivery, but not in that county.
Driver is accosted arriving at a "set-up" address, and forced into his own trunk. The vehicle is later used to crash through the front of a gun store (with the driver still in the trunk) in an attempt to steal guns. Those, however, were locked up in safes, so none were taken.
Driver released essentially unharmed about 30 miles away.

One fail in this case is allowing oneself to be placed inside a trunk. The track record of survival in such a situation is extremely poor.
Since this is similar to the ATM robbery/kidnapping being discussed elsewhere here, I thought another robbery/kidnapping situation with a different twist could expand the reminders such reports offer us.
