Went to the range this weekend with a couple of friends. One of my friends brought an MP 5 home from the "office" for the weekend. I'm still smiling from ear to ear. This one was set up for single shot semiauto or two round burst. It was awesome!!! At first when I fired it in two round burst mode my first round was right on the money and the second round consistantly off to the right. After a minute or two of further instruction I got it right. That thing empties a 30 round mag quick!!! Good thing we had six mags!::what: D
If you ever get the opportunity to fire one of those bad boys dont pass it up!!!

Other friend brought a brand new Winchester lever action 30-30. I never fired one of those before either, that was a great pleasure as well!! Very accurate!

My 10-22 didn't even come out of its case. We also had a Glock Buffet (2 40s and a 45) and a couple of Walthers. Didn't like the PPK :scrutiny:at all but thats a thread for another forum.

MP-5s ARE fun. My uncle has one with semi and full-auto. Fun fun fun! Uzis are nice too. I can't wait to get my hands on his "new" MP-40!:D

But... What I really want is a 9mm AR-15 subgun with full-auto and collapsing stock. That would be awesome.

Yeah, I rented one for 30 rounds or so at a Class III fund raiser at my range a few years ago. Went 6 for 6 twice on steel plates at 15 yards. Accurate, no recoil, fun to shoot. I want one bad. Anyone have $10,000??:D

Registered Receiver AR15 SP1 w/ Sound Technology 9mm Suppressed Upper. Barrel is ported to reduce sound signature, or better yet gets more attention at the range w/o.

Kenneth Law,

Mostly what I had in mind. For some reason I was envisioning an M4-type with the barrel cut at the end of the front-sight/gas block. Well, maybe around 7-8" with conventional handguards and an eeevilll flash-hider. Plus the obligatory red-dot sight, naturally.

Don't get me wrong, that suppressed setup is SWEEET!!! I'd love to put a few rounds through it with your blessing! ;)

I wonder if my dad will let me play with his SP-1...

Edit:

This is close to what I picture, minus the collapsing stock, flattop and red dot.

wow, living in canada we can only dream of getting out with a full auto. my dream would be to get a m-4. but looking at the pics of your guns just makes me drool. nice showing.

The range I frequent has an MP5 rental, semi and full auto, I'll rent it and go through three or six boxes of ammo (this way I have fully loaded 30 round mags, and dont have to download one, he normally just gives me two). Things like a people magnet when I'm firing it. I can empty the mag with one or two pulls of the trigger, and when I turn around everyone will be behind me. The only complaints I have about it is that the action doesnt lock open with an empty mag (and since it shoots faster than I can think I cant count rounds), the selector isnt ambi, and even if I could get a CLEO to sign, I couldn't afford one for myself. It is very addictive though.

I'd rather have an M16 so I could have a choice in calibers.

Getting a MG would probably be the kick in the ass I need to make room for reloading.
