I pocket carry a Crimson Trace laser equipped LCP but if my pockets are big enough I perfer to carry the laser equipped 9mm Ruger LC9.

I do have the Kel Tec .32, P3AT and P-11 9mm/40 S&W and .380 Micro Desert Eagle, but I hardly ever use them anymore.

It always cracks me up when people post different guns than those listed.

I honestly didn't vote... Not because of the choices, but because I was conflicted. First, if the LCR fits comfortably in a pocket, then that should be the pretty easy choice. However, for me, even the smallest revolvers are too big for a pocket. In that case, I'd easily choose the Kahr P380.

I just noticed that the poll says LCR while the post says LCP. My comment above applies to the LCR. If the LCP is what's meant, then I'd probably go with the LCP for price reasons. The benefit to the P380, though, is that it has decent sights and it's a little smaller.

Ruger LCR, of those on the list.

However, though I'm sure not everyone can pull it off, I can pocket carry a Glock 26. ...in fact, in exactly ONE pair of pants I own, I'm almost sure I could pocket carry a Glock 19!

I voted LCR because I'd rather have a .357 than a .380 any day of the week. However, if I was going to choose, I would take one of the smaller 9mm semi-autos.

The OP also said LCP in his post so that's what I voted for. I did more than that. I bought one in fact. It's great for those times when I don't feel like I might need to have a shootout with a group of armed robbers (been there twice) or with a gang chasing me down the street in an unfamiliar town (been there too). For those times I want a .45 ACP or at least a .40 with 16 round mags (and backups - always backups - I carry 3 extra mags for my XDm .40 - I carry 4 or 5 mags for my Taurus PT-145 in .45 ACP - I carry several mags with my Sig P220 also). But for those trips to the library or other spots where there isn't a big chance for mischief I'll be happy with the LCP. It isn't such a bad round considering what the com-bloc countries did with it before the USSR fell. It was their go to round for their police back then and their police were serious about things.

I actually bought the Ruger for the wife to carry but until she gets her CCW I'll be using it as a BUG or just as a pocket pistol. The laser makes it a lot more effective IMO although I would almost certainly use it as a point and shoot pistol. Your average dirt bag isn't going to sit still and find out if that round he hears coming his way wil actually do great harm anyway. But at some point the wife will want to move up a caliber or two and I'll claim the Ruger as a BUG.

I have both the lcp and the Kahr 380,while I dont really use them as
a primary they both function well. The Kahr in my opinion while more expensive
it beats my lcp in every way except reliability, better trigger better sights and more accurate for me.I should say my wife stole the Kahr and due to physical issues she now carries it as her primary.

I own a number of pocket pistols, and would select the Kahr from those you listed

I have put ~700 rounds through my P380 and the gun works flawlessly. It is by far the easiest to conceal and lightest weight of the pocket pistols I own. The trigger on the Kahr is really smooth, and the gun is very accurate for such a small package. Other pocket pistols I own include the Kahr PM9, Beretta Nano, Kimber Solo. While I prefer 9mm to 380, and each of these guns are relatively easy to pocket carry, the P380 is significantly easier to carry and conceal.

My Glock 27 in an A-Holster kydex holster (very thin) is a .40 that I pocket carry often.

LCP w/Crimson Trace Lasergrips & Innovative Arms external sight upgrade... Absolutely reliable ~ awesomely accurate....

Just my 2c worth. ;)

I went with the NAA. It was 300 out the door with tax for a new gun and it included a box of 50 rounds of American Eagle and a box of Hornady Critical Defense. The deal was too good to pass up. I really liked the Kahr when I handled it but I decided it wasn't worth the extra cash (to me, at this particular moment). I know I know...not one person voted for the NAA!

Are the Makarov, Polish P-64 or Hungarian P-63 much more visible in a typical blue jean (etc) front pocket than the guns in the OP's list?

PX15: that's a really nice photo.

Another none of the above - for the price of the Kahr 380 and its size, why not get the CM9 in 9mm? I pc one of these on a regular basis, works well and is easy to shoot- if you really want a small 380, get the Seecamp

Yes, and a lot heavier. Those pistols have more in common with the PPK than they do with the current crop of pocket companions.

None of the above! KelTec P3AT is what I carry daily. I fire a magazine through it on average once a month. Never any problems of any kind. Amazingly accurate for what it is. I have total confidence in this pistol. Loaded with Fiocchi or S&B FMJ ammo I feel confident that it will provide adequate self defense, if needed.
