This was in the local web news here in San Diego. Man, I guess its a good thing thugs don't get a whole lot of range time.

Lack of skill.... It just may save a life!

SAN DIEGO -- A gunman opened fire on three people standing in a residential driveway in the Encanto area, injuring nobody but sending a bullet into the home's garage, authorities said Friday.

The trio was standing in the 6100 block of Alderley Street about 9:30 p.m. Thursday when three males walked up the other side of the street, and one of them pulled out a gun, according to San Diego police.

Before running away, the gunman squeezed off seven or eight shots aimed at the males in the driveway, Sgt. Rich Nemetz said.

Nobody was hit by the gunfire, but one round struck a garage door, he said.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the shooting.

The shooter must not have had his custom side-of-slide mounted sights so he could hold the gun gangsta style. :p

Typical event in that neighborhood,,,gang shootings like this are a dime a dozen. Usually nobody hit, but occasionally an innocent catches a bullet.

Spent 25yrs as a cop in that county, Man I hated that place.

Oh fine. Now the antis will give up on guns and try closing the ranges. If you can't hit anything because you can't practice, nobody dies, right?

I mean, after all, it's for the children!

Reminds me of the movie "Falling Down" with Michael Douglas. Some latin gangstas open up on him with FA's and hit nothing but and innocent bystander. They then crash their car and he walks over, gives them a lecture on marksmanship and drills one in the leg with their own Uzi
