That's one of my main reasons to go to the range.
I make it a point to help the Boy Scouts get range time.
My grandson, age 8, recently got his first trip to the range.
More recently, I took a guest from Malta and two other friends from work. The fellow from Malta had a tremendous time, since there was extremely little opportunity for him to shoot at home.
My sister was always deathly afraid of guns, but she's a professional counselor and has to deal with strange people, and she decided to overcome fear and learn to shoot. I took her to the range and started her out on a 22 revolver. Then she tried a 38 snubby, and an XD45. Next up was my P238. She almost took that away from me on the way home.
My favorite of all time was the wife of a friend. She was a former school principal, and would just barely allow her husband to have guns in the house. One trip to the range, and she was hooked. She's now an avid shooter, and my friend can have all the guns he wants.
